From the moment Heerlijk was born everyone knew she was special. She is out of Leffert ster mare Amalia Van Hyplen owned by BJ Nerenhausen, one of our first North American, Dutch approved, FHANA judges. Heerlijk's sire is the well sought after Teunis 325.

Heerlijk is a full pedigree mare. Her stam line is 70. Her dam line is ster, ster, model, ster-pref. She has grown into one of the most elegant and stunning mares in this country. She stands over 16.2 hands with an extremely thick and long mane. Her movements are what make her so special. She absolutely floats! Nicknamed "Twinkle Toes" by our daughters for she suspends herself at the trot. Her linear score at the 2005 keur for her trot was a nine!
